Flower Design Courses & Events

We offer a wide range of flower design day schools and short residential courses for beginners and those with experience of flower design. Our aim is for everyone to have an enjoyable and relaxing day, with an excellent lunch, whilst learning new skills and enjoying creating your own designs.

We demonstrate and explain the techniques used for all of the designs and offer guidance for everyone throughout the day. Certain courses are offered on an all –inclusive basis where your flowers and materials are provided, with others we send you a fully comprehensive list of materials to bring.

From time to time have guest tutors and courses in other art and craft subjects.

We regulary run courses and demonstration days exclusively for clubs and groups and we have ample parking for coaches. Please contact Hannah to discuss your requrirements.

About Jill and Hannah

Jill is a flower demonstrator and involved with local and national competitions, flower festivals and teaches many workshops and adult education classes. Her competition work has earned her a Silver Medal at Chelsea Flower Show and Best in Show at both the Holbrook Area Show and East of England Show. She also demonstrates and runs workshops for flower clubs in Spain.

Hannah works in partnership with her mother Jill running a successful floristry business Dairy House Designs, specializing in wedding and functions work. She has recently completed her advanced diploma in floral art and design and is an Area flower demonstrator.
