Following the government announcement we are opening for 2021 on the following dates
Holiday Cottages and Self-Contained Extra Special rooms from 12 April
Full B&B from 17 May
We have put fridges and microwaves in the extra special rooms and breakfast can be ordered and delivered to your front door as the rest of the barns will remain closed. We are also planning to offer picnic suppers to order from this time. If you have any questions about staying with us please get in touch
The farm and barns has a health and safety consultant who is working with us to make sure your stay with us is as safe a possible and we have put in place all the required hygiene and distancing measures. Our staff have attended training sessions in the new ways of working before we opened. The Dairy Barns welcome is just as warm, with a few small changes to keep everyone safe.
From 17 May onward if you would prefer not to be in the main breakfast barn, all bed and breakfast guests will have the option of breakfast in their rooms. If you are joining us in the main barn it will be table service, rather than heading to the wooden dresser to help yourself to fruit, juice etc. All the same options will of course be available to you. With such a large space it is very easy for us to keep social distance between guests. So far the feed back from our guests has been really positive for both breakfast options. We are unable to offer breakfast for cottage guests at this time.
We have hand sanitizer in every room and every entrance for staff and guests to use.
If you would prefer the housekeeping staff don’t come in your room to clean during your stay just let us know when you are here and if you wish to bring your own pillows etc you are welcome to do so.
We do of course ask that if you are showing any symptoms for Covid-19 that you do not stay with us, this is only fair to our other guests, my family and staff. If you are unable to stay for any reasons related to Covid ie local lock downs, self-isolating etc we will either refund or reschedule your stay.
We keep in touch with all the local pubs/restaurants to find out there plans, head to our eating out page for more details, you will be pleased to know there are plenty of options so you wont go hungry! You are also most welcome to bring a takeaway meal back to the barns.
We hope some of this information has been useful and I will keep adding to it as things change. Any questions don’t hesitate to email or call
Looking forward to seeing lots of you again soon
