What’s on in Norwich this month…March 2014

Our Fine City of Norwich is always a wonderful place to visit and easy to get to from Dairy Barns too.  Historic Norwich Castle is well worth spending some time and currently they have a fabulous exhibition of pieces on loan from the British Museum entitled “Roman Empire: Power and People”.  How lucky are we that only 6 venues were selected to host this and Norwich Castle is one.  So get along to see sculptures from Emperors’ villas, coins from the famous Hoxne treasure, beautiful jewellery and near perfectly preserved childrens’ clothing.  On until 27th April.

For the “young at heart” childrens’ favourite The Gruffalo is on at Norwich Playhouse from 25th to 30th March.  A wonderful musical stage adapation of the award-winning childrens’ book with plenty of songs, laughs and fun for ages 3+ and their grown-ups!

And, of course, there’s always something fascinating to see, do and learn for all at the Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts.
