What’s your favourite North Norfolk beach?

That was the question posed by Visit Norfolk this month, and our vote goes to …… Sea Palling!

A beautiful wide expanse of sandy beach sheltered by the offshore reefs installed for sea defences. Holder of the coveted Blue Flag and with Lifeguards on duty from May to September it’s perfect for family bucket and spade holidays, a brisk walk to take in the salty air or just to sit and watch the waves lapping the sand or even a spot of beach fishing if you’re so inclined.

Backed by Dunes and with deckchair and windbreak hire, a pub, beach café, small amusement arcade, Post Office stores and even a farm shop selling local-caught fish – what more could you possibly want? Plus it’s just 3 miles from Dairy Barns.
